Arshilu Ozukum & Band winner of Top Acts Season 3
Arshilu Ozukum & Band emerged the winner of Top Acts Season 3 Grand Finale held here on Saturday at Capital Convention Centre.
The winner walked away with cash prize of Rs. 10,000 sponsored by 4Life and 6 months Music course from Creative Music Academy.
The 1st runner-up David Rutsa a.k.a ‘Coffee’ was awarded with Rs. 5000 sponsored by Beat Devices and Gift hamper Instrument Ukulele sponsored by Music Garage.
Bidhan Thapa bagged the 2nd runner-up and also received Rs. 5000 sponsored by Gear Heads.
All the participants received gift hampers and discount coupons from Beat Devices.
Miss Nagaland Vikuonuo Sachu and Dr Amenla Walling, International Diamond, 4Life jointly gave away the prizes.
Top Acts is a platform for young people, conceptualized by Family Planning Association of India, Nagaland Branch as part of its Adolescence Education program and Life skill development.
Top Acts has been initiated to be a safe space for young people to express themselves, channelize energy and grow with positive vibes through nurturing and mentoring.
The theme of Top Acts Season 3 Grand Finale was “Solar Energy – Clean Energy.”
Akangkokla Namo, Program Officer, FPA India Nagaland Branch presented a power point on Solar Energy, benefits and sustainability of green solar energy which is ideal for rural and difficult areas, isolated from conventional power grids besides job creation and non-polluting and inexhaustible unlike fossil fuels as part of FPAI and Selco Solar Energy partnership.

The judges for the grand finale included Mengu Suokhrie, Percy Medo, Senti Longchar (Desert King) and Lozino Noswe.
Top Acts Season 2 grand finale winner siblings Sentisangla & Hopong Chang also presented an original number to the delight of the audience while Atisbu Usou performed Beat Box item.
