RD Block Chunlikha foundation stone unveiled
Tseminyu, March 1 (DIPR): Minister for Urban Development, Higher Education, Dr. Shürhozelie inaugurated the new RD Block Chunlikha which will cover 13 villages and unveiled the foundation stone on the proposed site for construction of the office on February 29.
In his address, he reminded that the new RD Block will serve the people and stressed on the various developments the present government has so far given to the Tseminyu sub-division to benefit and uplift the people while at the same time reminded that the DAN government is taking into consideration the demand for EAC HQ of the area.
Parliamentary Secretary for Horticulture R. Khing speaking as the guest of honour thanked the DAN government under Neiphiu Rio for giving many historic days by way of development to the Rengmas during his time as Chief Minister. Project Director DRDA who also spoke on the occasion said that the department through its schemes and projects brings development to the doorsteps of the people and urged them to utilise the department for their own welfare. President Rengma Hoho Kegwanye Lorin delivering the welcome note thanked the government for the beneficent initiatives of development for the sub-division. ADC Henkhohao Singson chaired the function.
