Phek DBDB meeting conducted



Phek, July 10 (DIPR): The Phek DBDB meeting was held at the DBDB conference hall on July 10. The Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman Nikhashe Sema chaired the meeting on the occasion. The meeting began with a power point presentation by BDO Pfütsero as well as a power point presentation on village Vision Cell by SDO (C), Sechu, Avelu Ruho who was a special invitee to the Phek DBDB meeting.

Other matters which were discussed/recommended by the board included Write-off/dismantling of the erstwhile GHS boys hostel, Chozuba to facilitate construction of a new GHSS building. In addition to the above the board also agreed and recommended to write-off/dismantling of the existing GHSS building, Chozuba to facilitate construction of the ADC office at the site.

The members also discussed at length on the bifurcation and inclusion of villages in the newly created Chetheba, RD Block in the district. It was decided to re-endorse the matter to the concerned ADC Chozuba, ADC Pfutsero, Project Director (DRDA) Phek, BDO Sekrezu RD Block in consultation with the area political leaders/public leaders and the concerned village leaders to settle the issue amicably.

The BDOs of Sekrezu and Kikruma RD Blocks were entrusted to give a departmental activities report of their Blocks in the next DPDB meeting. The next Phek, DPDB meeting has been pre-poned and will be held on August 9, 2012, therefore all members are requested to take note of the change and to attend the meeting positively.
