DYO felicitates 48th ASA wrestling meet winners

The Dapfhiitsumia Youth Organization (DYO) today organized a grand  felicitation programme for the winners of 48th Wrestling meet 2020 of Angami Sports Association (ASA) here at Dapfhiitsumia Indoor Stadium, Kohima.

DYO felicitated the trio- Menuosetuo Yiese, Kezhaseluo-o Pienyii and Seyiekhrietuo Yiese, all belonging to D. Khel of Kohima village for bagging champion, second and third position at the 48th ASA wrestling meet 2020.

Speaking on the occasion, Dapfhiitsumia Council chairman Kelhouphilie Kire praised the trio for their success, adding that their achievement brought pride not only to the parents, clans and D. Khel but to the Kohima village as a whole.

He was optimistic that they will maintain goodwill approach and strive for greater heights of excellence.

Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) former champion Kezhalelie Keretsu also spoke at the function and asked the wrestlers to maintain constant exercise and give their best at the forthcoming NWA wrestling meet 2020.

Earlier, the function was chaired by DYO president Vituonyii Khezhie while Ruokuolhoulie Kire, deacon Khedi Baptist Church prayed for the programme.

Thejasenuo Kire and Dziesekhrienuo Keretsii presented special number.
