Jennifer Aniston dons her power suit for lunch with Woody Allen

It was back to business for Jennifer Aniston, as she arrived at a Hollywood eaterie for lunch with film director Woody Allen. Following the intense interest in her personal life, Jennifer appears to be forging ahead with new plans for her career, and a meeting with the famed director is definitely a step in the right direction. Dressed in a stylish pinstripe jacket, low-cut top and dark jeans the newly single actress was seen at restaurant Madeo arriving for a meeting with the 72-year-old director.
The pair have never worked together previously, but after last night's Hollywood pow-wow, it could be on the cards. Intriguingly, Jennifer was wearing a gold and jade ring on her wedding finger. But after being dumped by lothario and singer John Mayer earlier this month, there's no chance of an engagement announcement any time soon. The former Friends star was all smiles as she cruised through Beverly Hills, dressed casually in a vest, cap and oversized shades earlier this week. Her latest failed relationship came to an end two weeks ago after just four months, with Mayer saying he called off their romance to 'be alone'. Mayer, who decided against keeping a dignified silence over the split, added that infidelity did not play a part. He told reporters at the time: 'There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing.
'People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right.'Team Aniston sources have played down the split, insisting Jennifer only ever saw their romance as a fling. An insider says: 'She didn’t see herself and John having much in common or having a future together. 'She wasn’t fazed by the ending of it. She wasn’t hurt at all. She feels fine.'
