Take away the pigtails and cuddly toy and you have an outfit that many grown-up girls would envy. But then at three, Suri Cruise is already rather grown-up for her age. Tottering along in silver high heels, black leggings and a chunky red coat, she had the look of a tiny teenager let loose in her mother's wardrobe.
Not that Suri, the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has any need to borrow Mummy's things. She apparently already has a designer wardrobe of her own, estimated by some fashion experts to be worth around £2million. Then there is her make-up collection. Like most little girls she is fascinated with cosmetics and has been seen wearing nail polish and lipstick.
However rather than a one-off-treat, it is becoming more frequent, prompting some to question whether she is being allowed to grow up too fast. Out shopping in Boston with her mother, Suri showed all the poise of a seasoned stiletto wearer - until she stumbled on a wet pavement. Then, she was suddenly just a little girl needing only the comfort of a cuddle from Mummy. Earlier this week Katie and her co-star Anna Paquin slipped out of their negligees and into their wedding gear as they filmed the latest scenes for new movie The Romantics.
