Mark Wahlberg: ‘My Son Wants to Marry His Mom!’
Mark Wahlberg insists it was “nice” to marry longtime love Rhea Durham, the mother of his three children — but admits his three-year-old son, Michael, is a little bit jealous!
Mark says the toddler still isn’t used to his parents being married. “It was nice to make it official because now we know we are going to be together forever,” says Mark, who is expecting his fourth child with Rhea in January. The kids are very excited about it although my son wants to be the one married to mommy. He keeps trying to wrestle the ring off me!”
Mark has previously vowed to make his marriage last. “We broke up after Ella was born,” the Hollywood hunk said in September last year. “We’d been on again, off again for those few years. But we always wanted to make it work, we wanted to be together, we wanted to raise our family together. And it’s been a lot of hard work and counseling, and I think that’s the only way to make it work, to put in the time and effort. I can’t talk about why and what happened [when I left], obviously. But going away doesn’t make it work.”
