Gisele Has Baby Boy

Gisele Bundchen has reportedly given birth to a baby boy. The Brazilian model and her American footballer husband Tom Brady - who she married in February - are celebrating the safe arrival of the tot, according to People. The 29-year-old catwalk beauty was due to give birth next Monday. Details of when and where Gisele went into labour and the newborn's name are not yet known.
This will be the first child for the model, and the second for Tom. The quarterback, who also has a 2-year-old son, John, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, spoke about his latest pigskin progeny during his weekly press conference yesterday at Gillette Stadium.
“It’s obviously a wonderful experience in my life, but I owe it to the guys in the locker room to really be focused on what I need to do this week for this team and what I have to do today,’’ Brady said. “Put all those emotions aside and come in here with a great sense of determination for what we have to do as a team. As a captain and a leader of this team, the last thing they need from me is to be not really focused on the job at hand. It’s really a normal week for me in that sense.’’
Brady wouldn’t discuss details of the birth, which was first reported by People.com, and said he and Gi have not settled on a name yet. A source close to Bundchen told us yesterday that the Brazilian beauty’s mother, Vânia, and at least a few of her five sisters were at her bedside when she delivered the baby. Because the bambino conveniently arrived on Brady’s off day, there was speculation yesterday that Bundchen, like some other supermodels, had a cesarean. Officials at Mass. General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center all said yesterday Bundchen was not a patient at their hospital. “It went great,” Brady told reporters. “I didn’t get much sleep, but I think that’s most of us around here this time of year. I think everyone is doing well.”
It was recently revealed Gisele didn't want to know whether or not she was expecting a boy or a girl even though Tom had already found out. The 32-year-old sportsman revealed: "I'm really the only one that knows at this point. My dad asked me. I haven't told him. Gisele doesn't know. It's a pretty good feeling knowing something that no one else knows. "She's a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn't, so she said, 'Go ahead.' It will be a surprise for her."
