Nagaland Art Fusion Contest meeting

The Semi finals of Nagaland Art Fusion Contest will be on April 24, where ten bands will be selected through 50% public voting and 50% judges’ points after which Grand Finale will be held on June 12, 2010. The selected bands for the semi finals are Image, Malice Aforethought, Requiem, Odd one Out, Project of Evolution, Anti – Trust, Garbage Theory, Alice in Wonderland, Ruthless Sabotage from Kohima District, Black Soul Anthem, Black Venom, Rusty Dust, Medevil, Highland Oracle, Avancer, Flags of Rebellion,  Diderot, Magnum Opus, Fourth Origin, Black Creepers, and Frozen Heart from Dimapur District and Guts of Wind from Peren District, and Blood Line from Wokha.
A press note issued by Mind Blowers Club stated that the bands selected for the semi finals will have a interaction meeting with judges, organizers and patron members on March 27, 2010 at Tourist Lodge Conference Hall at 10.00 am sharp and requested that all the bands’ managers or either any one of the band members to attend the meeting, failing which the bands in attending the meeting will judge to disqualifications of the bands for the semi finals.
The bands are also requested to submit their file photo along with their profiles after which identidy cards of the participants will be issued on that day itself. MBC further stated that the meeting is to give proper ideas and guidelines of how the bands can motivate with their talents as live musicians to outreach love and peace through music and to inspire and encourage their talents. It was also mentioned that ‘contest professionals and dignified renowned musicians from the state and outside state will interact with the bands.’
