Campus Icon 6 final auditions on August 4
As eleven students from different institutions vie for the title of Campus Icon 6, the first audition is happening on August 4 at 11:00 am at the Sinai Hall Wokha (Mt. Sinai School High School Chapel hall) with Rajesh Sahani, the Managing Director of Progressive Youth Welfare Society Nagaland as the Chief Guest. This year’s Campus Icon prize money of Rs. 20,000/- is sponsored by the Progressive Youth Welfare Society to encourage the Team Metamorphosis in particular for their commendable job which they’ve been doing for the past six years for the benefit of the students’ community and the participants in general. The first runner up will also be getting cash reward of Rs. 12,000 only and the Second runner up a cash award of Rs. 8,000 only. Besides, this edition carries a cash reward of Rs. 2,000 only in every audition for the ‘Contender of the audition’.
Voting for the first audition closes on August 3 at 4 pm. Contestants are reminded to submit the voting cards before 4 pm after which late votes will not be entertained. Votes for the first audition are limited up to maximum of 2,000 votes only.
The contestants will be judged by the mode of 50% marks by votes and 50% marks from their performance. The Grand Finale will be held in the month of November during the Tokhu Festival in where the Govt. of Nagaland is collaborating the Kyong/Lotha festival with Youth Fest. Voting will be totally closed after the 2nd audition and there will be no voting at the Grand Finale and the Contestants will be judged absolutely according to their performances. The Organizers request the concerned institutions from where the participating students are to kindly send fellow students for encouraging their school contestants.
