This exciting Duo stands out because of their tremendous diversity of sounds which bring the traditional lineup of piano and violin used in classical music into a totally new context.  David Helbock, a numerous prize winning piano player and Simon Frick a virtuoso with his own soundlanguage, are expanding their sound possibilities with unconventional playing techniques such as inside piano playing with sounds, overtones and percussive grooves on the one hand, or playing the violin  as a bass guitar with funky wah-wah effects on the other hand.
