Signs of Mockery
In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. Jude V18
Every new day new sins impregnate the minds of the sinners and whoever are led astray by them will find no rest in this restless world. The signs of mockery we had witnessed in the recent past has caught the attention not only of the intellectuals but it has also demonstrated a new wave of evil movements to make a mockery of the endorsed system of the law. It is pathetic that the roads are pathetic but it is even more pitiable that the sinners who walks on it are as pathetic as the roads are. The gestures of mockery we witness on the faces of innocent sinners reminds us of what it will be like in hell. The truth is that Satan will give sinners millions of reasons to doubt, to judge and to condemn and if we fall into the sinner’s trap a cut on the lips will be what we will receive.
A point I want to stress in this review of mockery is that the acts of our sinful nature will only result in death. The sword of this undesirable movement has not only cut off the clothes of some pathetic elite sinners but it has also wounded and bruised the very hearts of our elected leaders. The draw backs of our Government are as numerous as the stars in the sky but it is sad that they are being condemned even when they are under the threat of eternal condemnation. This is sad and true. If wickedness was what they sowed death will be their wages but if we bury them alive we will be guilty of a greater sin. We are being watched now and every acts of sin we commit now will be well documented in our spiritual archives. The hard part of it is that if our names are not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, we will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15). God wants us to be saved; neither does He desire the death of anyone. It is only by grace that we can enter and it will only be by grace that we will be saved. The authorities that exist has been established by God and therefore we are to submit to the earthly rulers (Romans 13:1). In continuation of this the Holy Scriptures states “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you (Hebrews 13:17). These spoken words are living words and whoever lives inn them will inherit eternal life.
The roads that are paved on this world are of the temporal but the road which leads to heaven is of the eternal. The acts of the present will impact the destiny of the future. The way we had been mocking at the Government is a sign of what we really are. The movement started may be initiated with the best of intentions but chances are wide that sin may creep into the hearts of the pioneers of it. God’s swift judgment will soon be carried out in the lives of the sinners who are inflamed by the heat of it. In a stark warning to sinners the Scripture states “ Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature will reap destruction, the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life (Galatians 6:7-8). The desired result of the movement may not be met but it is pertinent to understand that we will be accountable for every little act of sin we initiated. Every act of mockery we directed against the Government will amount to greater judgment, harsher punishments and greater torment in the next death. It may appear to you that I am a pro-government activist but the truth is that this is a righteous movement initiated to warn sinners about the consequences of God’s wrath. Let every sin of mockery be done away with that the signs of God’s mercy in us be evident again. God sees this and God loves us. If too much hurts and wounds had been caused by this, I desire to let the powers of healings and restoration to work in us once again. This is just a sign of God’s love for us and if we live by it the powers of it will inspire us to walk in the ways of God. These are the days of God.
