NSF, ‘NSCN/GPRN’ affirm reconciliation

Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): A significant joint declaration was today made between the Naga Students’ Federation and the “NSCN/GPRN” in Mon. The declaration highlighted the NSCN/GPRN’s “cooperation” to the Reconciliation initiative. The central agenda included the “need for cessation of hostilities and violence amongst the Naga brothers”, a joint statement from the NSF and “NSCN/GPRN” received here stated.
The joint meeting of the NSF and the “NSCN/GPRN” was held on September 7 in the office of the Konyak Union in Mon. “The August gathering is viewed by us as a historic summit wherein varied issues were deliberated upon. As a result, we are fully convinced to have come an extra mile closer towards reconciliation, peace and unity of the Naga family. NSCN/GPRN expressed its cooperation towards the initiative. The most vital agenda of the discussion was centered on the need of the cessation of hostilities and violence among the Naga brothers. NSCN/GPRN also proposed to accommodate the popular sense of the Naga people in an objective, balanced and neutral platform for peace and unity” stated the joint statement, appended by NSF president Imchatoba Imchen and kilo kilonser Azheto Chopy of the “NSCN/GPRN”.

I appreciate the effort of the both parties.Khaplang and wangtin or those from eastern nagaland may however stick to this, but this azheto is a jackal, so i see no different when azeto is involved.

Did they discuss tax and extortion? NO? sorry, mission not accomplished. So long NSCN continue to tax and extort money (individual's salary, small business owners, property owners, etc) from public (including highway robbery), we will remain suppressed by these groups.
Am I happy with that? Definitely big NO. So cessation of hostilities and violence between the factions enough???

reconciliation is a must for bringing orderlly in the society.but as said we nagss are fed up of this people who in the name of nationalism brings only the worst. i earnestly request that the ideology nationalism should not be played by any naga underground until and unless they really have the full support of the naga people as a whole. Its very hard for the for the civil society to criticize the policies of an underground or any of its leaders policies, they used every possible tactics ot crushed nay kind of opposition in the name of nationalism...people are always unaware of what their real motives are, ofcourse plundering of wealth, killing of any kind of opposition, and the bossy nature of being a man with guns are the only things that we public notice...i dont know how we nagas will be avble to come to this term, there is no need of unification among this so called factions..unifications needs to be built around all the naga peoples as a whole on the principle of unity in diversity and not on the basis of nation-state which is out-dated...m very sorry if it hurts but i cannot help to see anymore barbarism and total lawlessness of our society.lets be all enlightened..

In Mon they may be peace but not in Dimapur.

In Dimapur they are behaving like Mobster, all harm, misfortune, mischief, outrage, inhuman, resentful, pitiless, ruthless, despotic, devilish, extortion, brutish, savage, persecute, tyrannize, intolerant, oppressive etc etc etc are done by this so called GPRN/NSCN.

If anybody is from Dimapur may well understand how this faction treat to non-sumis or to all nagas who are or with them.

Lastly, NSF must done Homework before they speak such crucial important matter to the public, it is really lower the image of NSF and very Hypocrite fact to point out some faction in their favour.

Keep the Banner flying!

Dont let anyone unnerve you. Unification is a just cause!

Dont let detractors fool you... anyone caught stealing or killing cannot seek protection from the the law ? That is what is happening in Nagaland today! Unscrupulous people hide behind the protection of the law and the police...!

Fundamenlists are everywhere! We have to keep watch.
