Peren | March 11 : Nagaland Home Minister Imkong Imchen has said that a political solution coming out of the Indo-Naga peace process will be good for both India and the Nagas. He was speaking at the inaugural function of the Peren Road Show. Imchen said that the Nagas need to have a political agenda to maintain their unique identity. “I have no hesitation to speak out on the political agenda, rights of the Nagas. Nagas having our own political agenda is not wrong but justified taking into consideration the uniqueness of the Nagas’ distinct culture and traditions from mainland India,” the Home minister said. He said that the Congress-led UPA government is very keen to solve the Naga political problem and that solution must be found at the earliest.
