Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): In a tragic incident on Friday, February 17, one schoolboy was run over by train near Thahekhu Block VII. The boy identified as Nilobo K Achumi (15 years) was a class ten student of Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School.  The boy, alongwith four of his school mates were strolling along the rail tracks around noon when the tragedy occurred.  All the boys, including the deceased were reportedly in their school uniforms.

One held with extortion notes

In an unrelated incident, one person identified as a Wilson Mao was caught by the police in the possession of extortion notes from Rail bazaar on Friday at around 10:30 am. According to police, he was a self-styled ‘sergeant major’ in the FGN. Police recovered 16 ‘tax coupons’ from the man. The ‘tax slips’ were reportedly meant to be delivered to businesses in the area.
