GPRN/NSCN cadre shot dead in Zbto

Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): One GPRN/NSCN cadre identified as “sgt.maj” Yenabemo son of Tsuthungo Lotha from Merapani under Wokha district has been shot dead allegedly by cadres of the NSCN (Khaplang) today in Zunheboto between 11 am to 12 noon.
Sources said he was apprehended at BOC junction, South Point Zunheboto and taken towards Hospital Colony where he was later shot dead.
GPRN/NSCN sources said the deceased was under Wokha region and was stationed at Ghukiye and had gone to town to get ration when the incident happened. The sources also alleged that the victim was physically tortured before he was killed.
