Angami Sekrenyi celebration at Tuophema

Kohima, February 23 (MExN): The Angami Sekrenyi festival will take place at Tuophema village from February 26 to 27. Minister for urban development and higher education Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu will grace the celebration as the chief guest on February 27 at 11:00 AM Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be the chief host. The two day long celebration will be marked by various competitions like; folk song, folk dance, Tholei, Seithe-ü. Folk dance will be presented by Ungma cultural troupe. Rüsoma cultural troupe and Tuophema cultural troupe on day 2. Sekrenyi feast will take place on second day of the celebration.
