Angami Sekrenyi-cum-Youth Expo today

Kohima, February 24 (MExN): The Angami Sekrenyi-cum-Youth Expo 2012 will take place on February 25 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) with the theme “Surging on”. The occasion will be graced by Governor Nikhil Kumar as the chief guest and presidents of frontal Naga Tribal Hohos as honoured guests.

The celebration is being organised in tune with the Govt. of Nagaland’s year-long plan to celebrate the tribal festivals of Nagaland with emphasis on the youths to give impetus towards youth resurgence.

The occasion shall have, besides the grand “Sekrenyi He” (feast), display of Indigenous games, Cultural presentation, Neise Meruno and the Zowe Madrical, Youth entrepreneurs and an evening of Youth extravaganza being organised by the Music Task Force, Govt. of Nagaland.
 
Points to abide with during the celebration
The organisers informed the APO units, frontal organisations and all concerned of these following few points to abide with during the celebration:-
•    All Unit/Area Contingents should congregate in the venue by 9.30 Am.
•    No automatic guns shall be allowed except for Muzzle loaders and cartridges without pellets.
•    No vehicle will be allowed inside the venue except those with Official Car Pass.
•    The APO Units/frontal organisation/subordinate Units are requested to enforce these points and also to inculcate discipline amongst its members.
