One found dead in apparent suicide

A 19-year-old woman, said to be mother of a 7-month old baby girl, was found dead, hanging in the veranda of Christian Mission High School in Phek town, at around 9.00 AM. The woman, identified as one Chosapalu, reportedly hails from Thuvopisu village under Phek district. According to Phek police station officials, the victim was married to an NAP constable in Phek. The case is suspected to be one of suicide, said the police quoting medical doctors and the police officers. The woman was not found at her home yesterday evening leaving her husband and 7 months old baby, sources said. She was found hanging at the school premises.
