Rio fetes Pranab on landslide win

DIMAPUR, JULY 22 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on his and on behalf of the people of Nagaland congratulated Pranab Mukherjee on his massive and convincing victory in the Presidential Election. “Your landslide victory is an indication of the faith the people of this great nation repose in you to hold the highest office in the land. It is also their way of rewarding you for the sterling quality of public service you have rendered, and the exemplary personal sacrifices you have made for the nation during your long active political career”, Rio stated in a letter addressed to the President elect.  Rio also stated that the “office of Rashtrapati is the most befitting one for you to conclude your long and distinguished career as one of the most successful and respected political activists of our time”. Rio wished Pranab a distinguished and glorious tenure as the Rashtrapati of this great nation. “The good will and prayers of the people of Nagaland will always be with you, as you enter your new office of great respect and responsibility”.
