Bomb hurled at Manipur journalist home

Imphal, August 11 (NNN): President of All Manipur Working Journalists Union (AMWJU) A Mobi was attacked with a bomb this evening. Reports said unidentified persons hurled a grenade at the house of A Mobi located in Thongju, Imphal at around 8:10 pm. The bomb landed on the roof and rolled down into the ground and exploded. However, no one was injured in the blast. It can be noted that in the last few days two militant groups operating in Manipur had threatened the journalists’ fraternity on the issue of publication and non-publication of press releases. Meanwhile KYKL (MDF) claimed responsibility for the attack.
