NSCN (IM) raids hotels at New Market
Dimapur, August 18 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today informed to have apprehended nine persons, all hailing from Assam, during raids on hotels in Dimapur. They were indulging in what the armed group said were “immoral activities” and “carrying out brothel activities” in Dimapur in hotels called ‘Mintu’, ‘Green Land’, ‘Natraj’ and ‘Chantan.’ The group’s “union territory” secretary Chonbenthung Lotha issued a note today warning the hotels not to repeat the “brothel activities.” The apprehended persons were said to have been deported to Assam and the hotels locked according to a “bond of agreement” which the NSCN (IM) said the hotels violated.
