Does HSRP really provide high security?

Avi Y Sumi Nagami: (HSRP) High Security Registration Plates, and yet the Nagaland Regional Transport Office Claims that its for security which can be easily removed along with the vehicles bumper, if the plates were really for security then a system alert should have given a warning to the RTO that an HSRP plate has been removed from the vehicle. My smart card says that my vehicles colour is c.silver, I repainted it to white, I mentioned white as the colour of my car in the HSRP form they did not object it and approved it, that means no security for my car even if my car is stolen, Govt of Nagaland Motor Vehicle Department, Its my car I paid all the taxes let me use whatever type of registration plates (style) I want, if my car gets stolen its my own loss no need to bother.

Vizo Christopher: This is nonsense. It just seems to me like a free flow of income for the contractor. Installing HSRP is not at all securing our cars. If one is an expert/professional stealer, this ongoing installation of HSRP is just a BIG JOKE to him/her. Here, this may be the kind of attitude he/she might be having, "YOU FOOLS! YOU THINK I CAN'T STEAL???" God forbid but if my Car is Stolen, Do they have the Device/Technology or whatever it is, to track down my car??? Are they very certain that they can trace the thief???

Vikeduo Linyü: Someone told me yesterday that two months back his sister's bolero was stolen even after HSRP was installed. Its bakwaaass just buy the duplicate from the market. High Scam Registration Plate!

Taku Meren Went to the office and inquire about, the security of HSRP, i am not convinced regarding the security of my vehicle !
And one very important questions who is the person taking the contract for installing this HSRP? just think about it, the rate, and the revenue earn where would it be used 2013? Amount fixed by GOI all over India, for HSRP are as below
Two wheelers Rs 69
Four wheeler Rs 214
Three wheeler Rs 86
Heavy vehicles Rs 220
If RTO Is asking or taking more than the amount above it Is nothing but day light extortion, oppose it Nagaland !God bless Nagaland.

Lawrence: I am not an expert in legalities but in my limited opinion, if Supreme Court orders fine for non installation of HSRP, according to me, it will cease to be SUPREME COURT! The Supreme Court should not coerce/force upon its citizens. let me ask, how many cases are pending in Supreme court relating to terrorism/murder/corruption/rape/road accidents??.Terrorist/rapist/murderers etc are sometimes let off with Rs. 1300 bail! I will wait sometime for HSRP installation! too busy as for now! If the court can take my vehicle down to Dmp and install the HSRP and bring back the vehicle with full petrol tanky with all payment by them, i will be glad to hand over the gari chabbi!

Father’s Day For The Fatherless

Al Longkumer
It's different than living through Valentine's Day without a valentine. It's different than being a Jew on Christmas. It's a day that most of us feel entitled to celebrate - yet, many people either do not have fathers or do not have relationships with their fathers. For this minority, Father's Day is, at best, bittersweet.
So what can you do when there's no one to honor on Father's Day? Here are some suggestions to help you through the day:
• Join someone else's celebration. Most of us have friends who would be happy to include us in their Father's Day celebration.
• Create your own ritual, which can include visiting his grave, lighting a candle, connecting with siblings who have shared your loss or doing something completely unrelated.
• Take stock of the good male role models in your life. Send a note of gratitude to a teacher, mentor, or a friend's father who has had a positive influence on your life.
• Volunteer. Giving is a great conduit to healing.
Most importantly, be good to yourself. Be gentle, nurturing and accepting of whatever emotions surface. Make this Sunday a peaceful one.
(Dedicated to all who miss their dad like I do)

Well, if it's mandatory then the cost should be incurred by the car's company or the traffic office.
