NPF Zunheboto says Tokheho is a ‘defection leader’

The Zunheboto Division of the NPF stands by the declaration that the Opposition Leader Tokheho is a defection leader and not a true leader of the people. The Congress of Zunheboto has obviously failed to understand the difference between Tokheho’s style of defection politics and that of a true Naga Leaders who have stood by their Principle and integrity for the greater Naga cause.
We reiterate that he is a defector and will continue to be so even in the years to come as he will always be looking for greener pastures. Nobody can compare his style of politics with that of others who have made sacrifices for the sake of the Naga people and for the Naga political issue. In fact, NIphiu Rio is the only leader who has sacrificed the comforts of Position and Home Ministership as he disagreed with the political policies and principles of the Congress under SC Jamir’s leadership, the author of the infamous Anti-Naga booklet “Bedrock of Naga Society”. Tokheho, who till yesterday was in the NPF party, betrayed his own people and joined the Congress to support SC Jamir’s policy as enshrined in the booklet. He is too afraid to either condemn the booklet or voice his support for it. This is the type of leader he is and his corrupt style of defection policies stands exposed.
