FNR appeals to the Naga Churches
The message and work of Reconciliation has been at the core of Christian praxis. The Naga Churches and Church leaders have over the decades been at the forefront in the search for Naga Reconciliation. Since the formation of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), the various church institutions in the Naga context have constantly extended their fullest support towards the purpose and activities of “Naga Reconciliation: A Journey of Common Hope.”
Once again the FNR elicits critical solidarity and understanding from all the church denominations in the Naga context. The FNR implores the churches to urge their members to attend the “Naga Reconciliation Meeting” on February 29, 2012 from 10:00am onwards at the Agri-Expo Centre, 4th Mile, Dimapur. The presence of every organization and individual at the “Naga Reconciliation Meeting” is essential, so that the people can clearly demonstrate the urgency for Reconciliation among Nagas and to demand an end to all internal strife. The FNR is persuaded that Reconciliation is the only way forward towards a shared Naga future, and we appeal to all the churches to come and participate in this crucial and essential “Naga Reconciliation Meeting.”
