The Presidential Chess

•-India has proved its monopoly in Chess when Viswanathan Anand brought the coveted world title for the 5th time to India.  Hope every Indian will join me with pride in recognizing `Vishi’ as a Chess legend.  Also hope not only Indian origin games, but others will also follow the suit soon.
Chess has been a match decider in India from the olden times. Emperors and Kings won and lost their domain by the move of these powerful pawns.  It seems that the popularity of the game has reached the Kings of today, our politicians.
The recent moves of political parties for selection of Presidential candidates were not less than a big chess move by any standards.  It may be worth re-collecting major moves for selection of the President of India.  The tribal move, region move, religion move and eminent personality move are the moves of the past.  The latest one can be considered as the anti fortress move.
Here, instead of making the King’s position strong by placing other powerful pawns around it, one remove’s the powerful pawns to pave way for the King to get a cake walk.  Can one anticipate that the congress is making such a move for the future PM in the line of succession?  Time can only have a final say on this issue.  As a citizen of this country I doubt whether our political parties have given due consideration to select the greatest eligible personality to become number one citizen of this great Country?

Blocked drainage at Rail Bazar

•-The rain on Thursday evening made many families in rail bazar area to sleep in their friends and relatives homes as the water rose upto the window level.
Even 2/3 days after the downpour people were seen cleaning their homes and the surrounding areas. I would therefore like to request the concerned authorities to kindly see into the matter as the floods are not only giving sleepless nights to the affected families but also proving to be a serious health hazard for all the people living here in this area.
