District Vett & A H officer Tsg informs
Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The District Vett & A H officer, Tuensang has informed the applicants for assistance under integrated livestock development programme 2009-10 that the interview would be held on November 9 at DVO Tuensang from 10:00 am onwards. No individual calling letter would be served and applicants are requested to attend the interview with relevant documents as per the guidelines.
ZTC notifies ‘advertisement cell’
Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): In view of the upcoming ‘Road Show cum Ahuna Feast’ to be held on November 13 and 14, the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) Chairperson, Khehoshe H. Yeptho has informed the executive officers, advertisement cell of Airtel, Aircel, BSNL and Reliance Company, Nagaland to put all necessary advertisement boards at Zunheboto Town before November 10, 2009. The mentioned advertise are to be executed with the executed with the consultation of ZTC. The ZTC has further informed that failing to comply with the given information; the cited company will not be permitted to put up any advertisement in the near future.
NGBF informs over Silver Jubilee souvenir
Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The Village Chief (GBs) Federation Nagaland (NGBF) has informed its former and present GBFN office bearers, tribal and district level GB presidents and general secretaries to submit a brief report on their “function and important activities” along with a passport photo to the convenor of GBFN Silver Jubilee Souvenir Committee for Souvenir book. The said federation in a press note issued by TL Angami Convenor of the Souvenir Committee NGBF Silver Jubilee stated that it is requesting the tribal and district level GBs and village chiefs to share their views over whether to exercise own customary laws at the “tribal level” or to follow a “codified common Naga customary law for all”. It also informed that the mentioned article has to be submitted to the convenor on or before November 15 and that no write-ups will be entertained after the said date
“Saramati Awung” prog held
Kohima, November 4 (MExN): The declaration programme for the “Saramati Awung” conservation and management society was held at Penkim village on October 31 with Tohanba, parliamentary secretary for information & public relations, economics & statistics as the chief guest and Kiphire Deputy commissioner L. Yantsowo Lotha as the guest of honour. Tohanba appreciated the officials of SACAMS for organizing the programme “Community Conservation area” under Pungro Sub Division consisting of 17 villages under the guidance of SACON and NEPED. He also encouraged the people of 17 villages to conserve the rich plants and animals for the welfare of the general public.
ANPSA Phek elects new Office Bearers
Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The general meeting cum election of ANPSA, Phek District Unit was held at Christian Mission High School, Phek Town under the Chairmanship of Kuveluyi Keyho acting General Secretary of ANPSA, Phek District. The members present unanimously elected Rev. Dr. Aaron Gnanadas, Christian Mission High School as President, Nuvesayi Edward Hoshi, Royal Foundation High School as General Secretary and Vekuto Nienu, Christian Home High School as Treasurer.
