IRCSN visits injured

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): A team of State Managing Committee Members of IRCS Zakie Kire, general secretary, Kholie Dolf and Viya Sekhose led by Abeni TCK, vice-chairman IRCSN visited the injured persons in the motor vehicle accident at Mao on February 4, 2012.  A press note issued by Zakie Kire, general secretary, IRCSN informed that the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch extended cash relief as a token of concerned to the injured persons who were admitted in the Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima and Oking Hospital Kohima and also offered heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family who died in the tragic accident on that fateful day.

31st ZBA annual assembly from February 10-12

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): Zeme Baptist Association (ZBA) would be holding its 31st Annual Assembly from February10 to 12, 2012 under the theme” Arise and Build”, at New Beisumpui Baptist Church (ZBA) near Athibung Town, Peren District. A press note issued by Sahingmak Newme, Executive Secretary ZBA stated that Rev. Dr. Rabi Pame Principal MRC Dimapur, Dr.B.R.Arai registrar SRTS,Trivandrum, Dr. Ijung Newme lect. (TBIC) Dimapur, and Diguang Daime, Missionary Haflong, Assam, will be the speakers. All the ZBA Churches’ leader and also evangelists and missionaries working under ZBA are requested to attend the Annual Assembly without fail.

Chakhesang Community Diphupar ‘B’ condoles

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): The Chakhesang Community Diphupar ‘B’ Village expressed their sorrow over the demise of Murhasu Keyho, former chairman of Chakhesang Community Diphupar “B’ Village. In a condolences message received it was stated that he had been a leader and pioneer of the community not only in Diphupar ‘B’ Village but of the Chakhesang community in Dimapur area. The hardships faced and sacrifices made by Late. Murhasu Keyho for the future interest of the community will be remembered and cherished. We pray that God Almighty grant solace to his family and loved ones and may his soul rest in peace, stated the condolences message.

KCC condoles

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): The members of the Kerala Christian Church (KCC) Kohima have expressed shock to hear the sudden and untimely demise of N.V. Thomas, Junior Engineer (CAWD), Tuensang and a Member of the KCC who died in Kerala on February 5, 2012 following a road accident. A note issued by John C Thomas, Secretary  stated that in a condolence meeting held in the Church, the President has recollected the contributions of late Thomas and conveyed its deepest condolence and prayed to the Almighty God to strengthen the family members to bear the irreparable lose and added, “May the departed soul rest in peace”.

Kuki organisation thanks GPRN/NSCN

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): The Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) and the Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) and Kuki GBs Union Ahthibung (Area) in a joint statement appreciated the GPRN/NSCN for safe release of two of their rival cadre (NSCN-K) Sethang and Paohao who were under their custody. The two were released unharmed in the presence of Kuki Inpi, KSO and GBs Union of Ahthibung area on February 5. “This significance gesture proved that they are in solidarity with Naga reconciliation for permanent peace,” the joint statement added. The Union has also urged both the factions “to refrain from killing our own brothers. This continuous factional feud will cost nothing but will pay hurdles on the Naga political movements.”

NPF Central Hqs. Kohima condoles

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): All rank and files of NPF Central, Hqs. Kohima, Nagaland joined the NPF Senapati Division, Manipur in extending sincere condolences to the bereaved families of late Nishini Lokho, late Hepuni Matia, late Khayi Kaini, late Thangawon Ena, late Tangawon Phimu whose lives were lost when the ill-fated bus met an accident reportedly due to technical failure near Makhan centre, Tadubi in Manipur on February 4, 2012. It was also stated that 24 others were injured in the accident. The party members prayed that may God almighty give them strength and solace to overcome the grievous loss and wished the injured persons speedy recovery.
