Tangkhul Longpang informs

The Tangkhul general public in Dimapur are informed that the annual general meeting will be held on February 10 at Diphupar at 11:00 am. Tangkhul Longpang Dimapur, general secretary in a press release has asked all the Tangkhul public to attend the meeting on time positively.

AGBCN meeting on Feb 25

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
The executive members of Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) have been informed that that the executive council meeting will be held on February 25 at 10.00 am at its Mission Centre, Singrijan, Dimapur. All the AGBCN Executive Members, Departmental Board/Committee Chairpersons and Secretaries and the Church representatives are requested to attend the meeting without fail. This release is to be considered as an official intimation.

CTC informs on trade license

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
For the convenience and welfare of the business community, the grace period for CTC trade license has been extended till February 20. CTC Chief Advisor Thepfulhoutuo Shuya in a press note has therefore, directed all businessmen who have not yet renewed their trade license/fresh registered their firms to do the needful on time. After expiry of the grace period, no complaint/request will be entertained under any circumstances. Defaulter(s) will be penalized as per provision of law, the note added.

DMC calls meeting

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
Basing on the DMC advisors board decision on February 6, an emergency meeting has been called by the CEO DMC Imtirelna Jamir between the DMC advisors and the allottees of DMC New Market Complex building on February 9 at 2:00 pm in the DMC Conference Hall. Hence, all the allottees of the New Market Complex Building are requested to attend the meeting positively.

Final publication of electoral roll

Wokha, February 8 (DIPR):
Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer Wokha, Anthony Ngullie has informed to all public that, the list of amendment to the Draft Roll for 37 Tyui, 38 Wokha, 39 Sanis and 40 Bhandari Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to 01/01/2012 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. The ADC further informed that a copy of the said Roll together with the said list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the Office of the ADC & Electoral Registration Officer Wokha.

PTCSU resent over irregular power supply

Kohima, February 8 (MExN):
The Phek Town Chakhesang Students Union (PTCSU) has once again expressed its resentment over irregular power supply in Phek town. The Union said the irregularity of electricity is hampering the students career, who are going to appear HSLC, HSSLC, degree examination commencing from February 10. “Why load shedding problem is worst in Phek town among the 11 district?” PTCU general secretary Kedukhoto Tetseo questioned. The Union warned that it will not longer remain as a silent spectator but would resort its own course of action to redress its grievances.

Axis bank ATM at secretariat

Kohima, February 8 (MExN):
The Axis Bank Kohima Branch is going to open the 7th ATM at the New Secretariat Complex, Kohima on February 9 at 11:00 AM. The ATM, which will be the 7th ATM of Kohima town under Axis Bank Kohima will be inaugurated by Chief Secretary Lalthara.

NPF Youth Wing Phek div informs

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
The NPF Youth Wing Phek Division will have its introductory meeting on February 25 at 11:00 am at NPF Division Office Phek Town. All the new office bearers are informed to attend the meeting without fail. Newly inducted office bearers are asked to bring tow stamp size photograph for ID card. The Sangtam Students’ Union Kohima (SSUK) has convened a meeting on February 11 at the residence of Treasurer at 1.00 pm. SSUK general secretary, Rosemary in a press release has asked all the office bearers and executive members to attend the meeting positively. The statement further conveys its best wishes to the entire Sangtam students’ the very best of luck in their forthcoming academic examination.
TUM celebrates 9th Union Day

Mon, February 8 (DIPR):
The Tenyimi Union Mon (TUM) celebrated the 9th Union Day on February 7 at the Tenyimi Complex, Mon with Angau I Thou, Deputy Commissioner, Mon as chief guest and Nyamto Wangsha, Principal, Kongjong Higher Secondary School, Mon as guest of honour. Welcome speech was delivered by the Union Secretary Kevilenuo and Special number presented by Grace and friends. Invocation and Vote of Thanks was pronounced by the Pastor those Angami. The program was chaired by Nancy, Deaconess and the celebration was attended by a good number of her members and well wishers which concluded with the Union feast and entertainments.
TSUD wishes students

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has wished best of luck and good health to all the students appearing for the forthcoming examinations. The Union in a press release issued by information secretary Chopfokho Robviina has also urged the student community to refrain from using unfair means in the examination. The TSUD also request the Power department to provide uninterrupted power supply during the examination.

YGOA general session on Feb 24

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN):
All the Yimchungrü Gazetted Officers (YGOA) are informed that the general session for 2012-13 will be held at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre conference hall, 6th mile Dimapur on February 24 at 10:00 am. YGOA general secretary in a press release informed that the meeting will include the agenda for hosting of Eastern Nagaland Gazette Officers’ Association in the month of April 2012. The members are also asked to bring their respective membership during the meeting.

Immunization week in Kiphire

Kiphire, February 8 (MExN):
Immunization week for January 2012 was conducted from January 25 to 31 in Kiphire district. Kiphire CMO office, Media Officer, Pezanguno Celine Secü in a press release said that the health workers of all the Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres and Sub-Centres were detailed to cover the villages under their respective units. Children 0-2 yrs of age and pregnant women were given immunization against the 7 vaccine preventable disease. Measles vaccine was administered to the children 9 months to 10 years of age who were missed during the last Measles Catch-up Campaign on October 2011. As per the information send to different villages, DIO again reminds the public of Kiphire to be aware of this immunization week which will be held in the last week starting Jan-April 2012 in the District.
