SDRF disaster management training underway

SDRF trainees on Medical First Responder (MFR) practical class.
Dimapur, February 8 (MExN): The 3rd batch State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) from 12th IR (Bn) NAP Alfa Company comprising of 103 officers and personnel are undergoing Disaster Management training at Civil Defence & Home Guards Central Training Institute, Dimapur for 30 days commencing from February 1.
A press release issued by Dally Jamir, PRO Civil Defence & Home Guards, Nagaland the SDRF training is organized and sponsored by Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (Home) Government of Nagaland. In this training 22 officers and Instructors from CTI, 7 officers and Instructors from NDRF 1st (Bn.) Guwahati and 10 guest faculties are actively involving in the training. The training aims at capacity building of the trainees to immediate response and cope with the disaster and manage restoration of normalcy through quick saving of lives and properties.
