‘Opheh Elite club’ on tour to South India

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN): Opheh Elite club  organized a trip to south India (Kerela & Karnataka) under the theme “Tour for Transformation”.  The club expressed their gratitude to Parliamentary Secretary Naiba Konyak for his relentless help. The club also thanked Rev Sajan Joseph and his family members for their support during the tour stated Francis Changlang, Convenor, Opheh Elite Club, Tobu in a press statement.
 Opheh Elite was formed in 2010 comprising of voluntary students hailing from Tobu area under Mon District. .  The club had also organized awareness campaign at Changlangshu village in 2010.It was mentioned that the club had taken up programmes  such as introducing dustbins in and around the village, organizing HIV/Aids awareness campaign, creating awareness on family planning, creating awareness on the need of cultural preservations and awareness on climate change.
The club also wished success to all the Tobu area students who are to appear HSLC, HSSLC and degree examinations 2012.
