Department heads told to take developmental activities seriously
Kiphire | February 9: The monthly Kiphire DPDB meeting was held at the official chamber of the DPDB vice chairman and Deputy Commissioner Kiphire which was also attended by NAMDC Nagaland Chairman Kipili.
Addressing the gathering, NSMDC chairman warned the departmental heads to take developmental activities seriously and to co-operate as there is rapid development in the district. He requested the head of departments to give maximum feedback of the activities taking place in the department. The chairman also come out heavily on land acquisition and sale deed by the department and said that “details should be furnished to the concern authority so that problem does not arise out of it.” Taking part in the discussion on PWD road development in the district Kipili said that PWD Roads in the district should be maintained properly.
Vice chairman and Deputy Commissioner while welcoming the DPDB members asked them to take the meeting seriously because it will reflect in the ACR. Answering the queries on bad road condition by the board members in the district, EE PWD (R&B) Kiphire said that there are not enough labours for maintaining the 300-400 Km of PWD roads in the district.
Meanwhile, the planning officer asked the board members to submit the five years district action plan of respective department within this month as the development of the department within five year depend on the action plan submitted now.
