Farmer’s friends of Sathaka on tour training

Dimapur, Febraury 10 (MExN): ATMA Zunheboto took farmer’s friends of Sathaka block on tour training to Dimapur as inter-district level training.  The team was lead by Tokato Zhimo and Avitoli Jimo, both Dy. Project Directors.
On February 8, field visit, training cum demonstration at CIH farm was done by Diganta Gohain, Sr. farm manager CIH, Later on, they had an exclusive interaction with Dr Shyam Sigh, former Director, NRC for citrus, Nagpur, Dr R.N Padaria, Principal Scientist, Dept of extension, IARI, New Delhi and Dr Alkali Sema, Director CIH. Thorough discussions were undertaken on matters related to CIH, ATMA and individual problem faced by the village under Sathaka block
Further on February 9, the team visited Green Park, Noune resort and other tourist sites in Dimapur. It may be noted that each farmer’s friend of ATMA looks after two census villages and are provided mobile handsets for dissemination of information from ATMA center as well as to provide feedbacks from the farmer.
