Libraries coming to collect the books must bring library round seal and designation seal of the president or librarian. Books will be not be issued to unauthorized person and without library seal. Books may be collected from the directorate office from February 20 to March 30 during working hours. Banking awareness prog at DPS Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): RBI and the Orchid Foundation Guwahati will organize a Banking Awareness programme at DPS Dimapur. The RBI Ombudsman will conduct the programme from 12 noon to 2:00 pm on February 13. Parents, senior students and teachers of the school shall attend the programme. Mongkum Jamir, Managing Director of Symbios (P) Ltd will be the chief guest. Entrepreneurs of Peren district informed Peren, February 11 (MExN): All entrepreneurs of Peren district selected under the state’s declaration “Year of Entrepreneurs” will hold its emergency meeting at Town Hall, Jalukie town on February 12, 10:00 AM to discuss about the current issues. Raffle draw postponed Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): The Assemblies of God of East India, Christ Ambassadors Wokha section raffle draw in aid of silver jubilee which was scheduled on February 11 has been postponed to March 26 due to unavoidable circumstances. The organising committee has expressed regret for the inconvenience. 64th USSC annual session held Dimapur, February 11(MExN): The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) the apex body of the United Sangtam Students’ community held its 64th Annual Session from January 20 to 22 at Tsongphong Village under Kiphire district under the theme “Visualizing beyond visible.” A press release issued by USSC president Likhumba Y. Sangtam informed that C Kipili Sangtam, MLA & Chairman NSMDC graced the programme as the chief guest who declared the Hopongkyu Memorial Volleyball Trophy open. He appealed the gathering to be self reliant citing an example of Korean Village. He also donated Rs. 1 lakh to USSC and Rs. 50 thousand to Tsongphong Village and Rs.5 thousand to dancing troupe. Athriba Sangtam, Executive Engineer (Design Branch), PHED Kohima was the chief guest of cultural programme. He exhorted the students that he was an Engineer by profession, Lawyer by interest and Martial Art by practise. He holds Black Belt 4th Dan in Karate. He asked the students to be professional in any discipline one takes up he also donated Rs. 20 thousand to USSC and Rs.10 thousand to host village. Other speakers were Alem P. On January 22 the Cliffers Band winner of NSACS, Kiphire 2011 enthralled the congregation with their original songs.
