Juveniles arrested for theft

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 11 (MExN): Three young boys caught stealing have been arrested
by police on Saturday in Dimapur. The boys, all in their teens, were found
stealing building material at the now under-construction State Stadium.
According to police, the stolen items consisted of iron rod, pipes and a steal
sheet, which the boys intended to sell as scrap. The boys were forwarded to the
Juvenile Court and the recovered items returned to the owner.
One held with pistol
Meanwhile, according to a delayed report received from the Police one man
identified as Kiyeahe was arrested for possessing an illegal firearm at
Khermahal on Feb 2.One country-made pistol of .22 Calibre was ceased by the
Police, alongwith two rounds. A case was registered against the man, who is said
to be a resident of Purana Bazaar, and later forwarded to court.
