AR presents furnishings to GB Association

Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): The 21st Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 7 Sector Assam Rifles presented Furniture, Almirah and TV set to GB Association Office, Zunheboto Town district Zunheboto (Nagaland) under Assam Rifles Civic Action Project on 08 Feb 2012.
Col Manish Sinha, VSM, Comdt 21st Assam Rifles handed over the Furniture’s, Almirah and TV Set to GB Association Office, Zunheboto Town. On addressing to GB members and the villagers, he emphasized the importance of this age old local governing body and its role in developing and maintaining peace and tranquility between different tribes and villages. He urged the senior members to pass this age old tradition to new generations in the future.
The Chairman of GB Association, GBs and Village elders of different villages expressed their heartfelt gratitude to 21st Assam Rifles for giving importance to their governing body and providing furniture and other items for smooth day to day functioning of office work.
