“BIOME” magazine released
Wokha, February 12 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Rovilatuo Mor on February 9 released the first edition, Quarterly Magazine titled “BIOME” and leaflets in Lotha dialects on Rubber, Broom grass and Economic Chulah published by the department of Land Resources Development, Wokha.
The department sensing on the need to touch the grass root level is bringing out this magazine highlighting the departmental activities. A regular feature of this magazine will act as a bridge between the farmers and the higher ups where farmers get an opportunity to express their needs and problems and their achievements.
The DC while releasing the Magazine, congratulated the department for successfully bringing out the first edition highlighting extensively on the programmes and planning enlightening the rural populace in the path of socio and economic development. He also appealed to the department to emphasize on the importance of utilizing local laborers to manage our own farms for our economic benefit and convergence of projects with other line departments for effective implementation. The function was chaired by DPO, Land Resources Development, Wokha Tepunol Yore.
