Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The Chessore Area GBs’ union extended their gratitude to the DAN Government led by the dynamic leader Neiphiu Rio,  Chief Minister Nagaland and R Tohanba Parliamentary Secretary Information & Public Relation, Economics & Statistics for up gradation of Chessore EAC head quarter to that of SDO ©. We also appreciate all the ranks and files of officials of the state.
The upgradation of SDO © Chessore was a long cherished dream for the people of Chessore area. The administrative head quarter was first established in 1957 as Circle Officer. Thereafter, EAC head quarter in 1974 perhaps the oldest administrative head quarter remained the same status and upgraded only after gap of fifty years. Under the same area two administrative headquarter i.e. Mangko and Sotokur were established recently.
In a general meeting held at Aiponger village on January 24, 2012, the union deliberated and appreciated many developmental activities done by the DAN Government, such as upgradation of many schools, GMS, High Schools, NLCPR roads, PMGSY roads, electrification, PHE, Irrigations, etc.
