KDSEA general meeting today

Kohima, February 16 (MExN): The General consultative meeting of the Kohima District Selected Entrepreneurs Association (KDSEA) selected under the ‘Year of Entrepreneur’ (YOE) will be held on February 17, at the Conference Hall, LCS building, near Ao church, Kohima at 2 pm (sharp). President, KDSEA Michael Kekhriesetuo in a press release stated that  any members, who fail to attend the said meeting, shall not be supported by the KDSEA in any form.

DEO informs on scholarship

Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): The District Education Officer Dimapur has informed that the pre-metric minority scholarship will be given from the DEO office during office hour from February 20 onwards. Name of the student’s list has been pasted at the notice board.  

Development Commissioner informs

Kohima, February 16 (DIPR): All the Departments are requested to collect tentative outlay for Annual Plan 2012-13 for preparation of Budget from Room No. 14, Planning & Co-ordination Department. This was informed by Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner Alemtemshi Jamir.

Free health mela at Razieba Town

Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): All inhabitants of Pfutsero block are informed that the District Health Society Phek is organizing two days free Health Mela at Razieba Town on February 23 and 24. All are invited to come and avail the medical services and consultation. This was informed in a press note issued by District Media Officer, Phek Nagaland.

Kohima law college students informs

Kohima, February 16 (MExN): The students of Kohima Law College are informed that the measurement of College Blazer will be done on Tuesday, February 21. NLA speaker convenes meeting on Feb 29

Kohima, February 16 (DIPR): Speaker Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), who is also the Chairman of Business Advisory Committee, Keyanilie Peseyie has convened a meeting on 29th February 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Assembly Committee Room to finalise the Provisional programmes for the ensuing Eleventh Session, which will commence from 12th March 2012. All the concerned Committee Members are requested to attend the meeting positively. This was stated in a press release issued by Secretary NLA, A.E. Lotha on 16th February 2012.

NU orientation course in English

Kohima, February 16 (DIPR): Department of English, Nagaland University, Campus Kohima, will be organising a Two-day Orientation Course for English teachers of colleges affiliated to Nagaland University to introduce them to the new undergraduate syllabi of English as per the Semester system being introduced by the University. According to the Head, Dept. of English, Dr. A. J. NVA informs on roads for public use

Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): All concerned are informed that the following  entry village approached roads within the jurisdiction of Nallong Village are widely open for public use: Nallong to Barak toward Puilwa Village ( Nagaland), Nallong to Barak toward Tamphung Village, Nallong to Kuilong Village,  Nallong to Makuinong Village, and Nallong toward Lemta ( Old/ New) Village.  This was informed in après note issued by SP Poulingbo, Chairman Nallong Village Authority (NVA).   The note mentioned that the log operation jungle road from Barak leading to New Lemta Village via Nheki and Nthengki River constructed by log contractors without the knowledge of the Village authority is found to be illegal use of land by log contractors. Therefore, it is hereby informed to have been closed for any public use from the date of this publication. “Whosoever uses the said road within the jurisdiction of Nallong Village shall be at his own risk. Nallong Village authority shall not be responsible for any kind of untoward incident on this regard,” warned the note.
