CHAI launches Patient Charter for Tuberculosis Care

Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): The Patient Charter for Tuberculosis Care developed by Project Axshaya, Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) was formally launched by Dr. Imyangluba Ao, District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) Mon on February 17, 2012. A brief concept on the patient Charter was highlighted by Kehile Semp, Mon District Coordinator, CHAI Project Axshaya TB GFR9 on at District Tuberculosis centre Mon.
Kehile said that the IEC will be display at health facilities, offices, institution in Mon district for general awareness. The patient Charter outline the rights and responsibilities of the people with TB, it is endorse by WHO, Stop TB partnership, national government and civil society organization.
