Azheto Zhimomi inaugurates GPS at Phushito Vill

Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): MLA and Advisor, Sericulture and Co-operation, Azheto Zhimomi inaugurated the Government Primary School at Phushito Village under Aqahuto area of Dimapur district on Saturday, February 18, at a function attended by officials of education department, administration and public leaders of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest of the inaugural function Azheto Zhimomi said the inauguration of the school is a significant development of the village, which the people should make best use of it as education is an integral part of life.  
He was of the view that the villagers should be thankful to the government and the concern department for giving recognition to the village. He said the village itself was new but the unity among the villagers has earned themselves an achievement in the form of a school.
Azheto also highlighted a series of initiatives being taken up by the government to promote education in the state.
Kitoli Naje, District Education Officer, Dimapur also gave a short speech.
Rendering welcome address, Phushito Aye, in his speech thanked the DAN government for fulfilling the needs of the village people. He said that the villagers despite having faced hardships were privately managing the school with a hope that the government would soon take up the school and rightly, the government has come to the aid of the villagers.
School children and mothers’ group presented special songs, Kakheto Aye chaired the function, Lutoi, pastor, Phushito Baptist Church said the invocation while Kiyehe Aye proposed vote of thanks.
Azheto was accompanied by host of officers from school education department including DIS Dimapur Atomi Sumi and SDO (Civil) Dhansiripar, C. Konyak.
