KVYO undertakes surprise checking
Kohima, Feb 22 (MExN): The Kohima Village Youth Organization has undertaken a surprise checking along the stream of Kohima village water supply source at Ketsagei (above Kohima Jotsoma road) and detected much water pipe connection from the steam above the main diversion point of the village water supply line. In this connection, the KVYO reiterating its stand on the ban of individual /group water tapping from the above soul water source hereby directed all concern respective of his/her their pipe from the stream. Failing to comply may invite penalty of Rs. 20,000 and seizure of the pipe out branching from this stream at any place above the said diversion point, a release received here said today. It also appealed to all the citizens of Kohima to be aware of the above standing resolution jointly passed and adopted by the Kohima Village Council and KVYO. Any person violating the above resolution shall be doing so as their own risk and the organization shall not bear responsibility for any untoward action initiated against such defaulters, the release added.
RPO consultative meet on February 24
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): Razeba Public Organization, Kohima will hold consultative meeting on February 24, 2012 from 04:00 PM onwards at Deo Nukhu's residence, old minister's hill. DPDB Peren meeting on February 24
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): A press release issued by Khrienuo C. Metha, Vice Chairman, DPDB, Peren, informs all District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) members, Peren, that the DPDB meeting will be held on February 24 at 11:00 am in the Conference hall of DC at New District Headquarter Peren. Mon DPDB on February 24
Mon, February 22 (DIPR): The DC Mon has notified to all the concern members of District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) of Mon district, that the monthly DPDB Meeting of the Board for the month of February 2012 would be held on 24th at 03:00 pm, at the conference hall of the DC Mon. The Chairman DPDB, Mon has also instructed all the Heads of the Officers to attend the meeting without fail and attendance would be taken and No Work No Pay policy would be invoked.
Free blood group and hemoglobin test on February 26-27
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): Helper’s club, a social organization in association with Religare Diagnostics, Dimapur and General Pharmaceuticals, Midland will be organizing a free blood group test and hemoglobin test at General Pharmaceuticals, Midland on February 26 and 27 from 9 am to 4 pm. A press release issued by Dr Rongsenla, president, Helper’s Club and Bhuban Ghosh, General Secretary, Helper’s club, states that interested persons can come and avail the facility. This free blood group test will be held under the guidance of Y. Khehuto Zhimomi, GB, Midland. The press note further states that any person willing to donate blood for the needy people can contact the organization.
Kohima, February 22 (DIPR): Mopungchuket Medemsanger Telongjem Kohima (MMTK) is organising a programme with Kosanger and Reongsanger Zunjem on February 25 at Red Cross complex P.R Hill Kohima. The programme will be chaired by A. Temjen Jamir. The resource person for the programme includes Secretary & Principal Director School Education, Bendangkokba IAS, Y. Noklen Jamir, Chubatoshi and Aotemjen Jamir. In this regard, the Kohima Medemsanger Zungjem informs all its members to reach the place before 9 a.m. without fail. The Kohima Medemsanger Zunjem Kohima also requested all the Kosanger and Reongsangertem Zunjem to kindly attend the important programme.
Immunizations Weeks from Feb 2012 to April 2012
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): With the declaration of 2012 as the Year of “Intensification of Routine Immunization”, Kohima along with the other districts will be holding Immunization Weeks during the last week of February, March and April. The dates for February have been set from the 23 to 29. The concept in conducting these special Immunization weeks is to achieve 100% immunization of all targeted children, 0-2 years, and all pregnant women. Therefore, the Chief Medical Officer Kohima has kindly requested all parents, teachers, church leaders and community leaders to mobilize the beneficiaries to avail the free services in all health centers.
