DEO informs on free textbooks

Kohima, February 24 (MExN): The District Education Officer, Kohima has informed all the head of institutions both Government higher secondary schools and government high schools under the District education Officer, Kohima that free text books for the current academic session shall be issued with effect from 27 February during the officer hour.
The DEO, Rheituolie Metha in a press release has informed that all head of institutions should be furnished class wise enrollment particulars of class 6,7 and 8 of the previous as well as the current academic session to the undersigned without which free textbooks shall not be issued.

Meanwhile in a separate note, the DEO, Rheituolie Meth, has reminded the principals/headmaster/headmistress, government higher secondary school and government high school to submit the current status of saving bank account number of SMDC (existing or new) of GHS and GHSS fulfilling the conditions as per the norms of the RMSA, to the State Mission Office, RMSA Nagaland by the undersigned on or before 29 February failing which no funds could be released to SMDC account. It added that to avoid delay and further complicate matters, it is directed to immediately submit a photocopy of their respective schools’ RMSA Saving Bank Account passbook latest by 27 February for onward submission.
