WYH appeals to cease infighting
Dimapur, February 25 (MExN): The Western Yimchungru Hoho (WYH) is very much disappointed to see the ongoing clashes between Naga national workers of different political affiliations in every region of Nagaland despite many initiatives by different NGOs to cease such clashes among Naga brothers.
The Hoho would like to appeal to the Naga national workers irrespective of their political party’s affiliations to join hands to fight against the common enemy, which is playing the game of divide and rule to break up the Naga national movement.
The Hoho would like to point out that the divide and rule policy has shattered many Naga lives, which include Naga intellectuals, freedom fighters, innocent civilians, children, women and many more. If the infighting among the Naga national workers does not stop now than it would be very difficult for Nagas to achieve their long cherished desire of living independently.
To achieve this goal, Naga national workers have to stop internal strife and also have to come under one political umbrella so that the Government of India would have no choice but to yield to Naga aspiration. In this regard, the Hoho would like to make a mention that Nagas have a common goal, to live independently.
Furthermore, the Hoho would like to request different Naga political groups to take serious note of the Naga peoples’ aspiration, who wish to live in unity and never wanted any killings among Nagas.
