ANSTA Kiphire Unit supports

Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Kiphire Unit has extended support to the decision made by NSF, ENSF and central ANSTA on banning all taxation by any organistaions, groups, and factions of the national workers in educational institutions. ANSTA Kiphire Unit president Liphri and general secretary Chemlise in a press release has requested the organistaions, groups, and national workers to understand the grievances of the teachers whose only income is their monthly salary by which they manage their homes and children’s education very scarcely. Therefore, the Unit has appealed all the groups not to snatch away the daily bread of the teachers in particular and their family and children as well.

IVC meeting on June 23

Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): Ikishe Village Council (IVC) is convening an “important” meeting with all the people who are having plot/site under their village jurisdiction in June 23 at Kakheto Kinimi ex-minister residence, Ikishe Village at 10:00 am. IVC secretary Khubolho T Yepthomi in a press release has requested all concern to attend the meeting without fail.

KVC consultative meeting on June 30

Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): The Khriezephe Village Council (KVC) has convened a consultative meeting on June 30 at the Village Council at 10:00 am. All the concern members and landed property owners are requested to attend the meeting positively. Agendas and land pattas, village development by VDB, ban on illegal hunting, construction of GMS, RCC building and other related social welfare activities will be deliberated. KVC chairman Jonah Kemp in a press release has stated that members are welcome to put forward any relevant agendas in the general interest of village upliftment. Important resolution will be adopted during the meeting and no complaints will be entertained thereafter. Therefore, all concern land owners and representatives are requested to attend without fail. Lunch will be served after the meeting.

LLB, LLM admission underway

Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): Admission of LLB course under NU and LLM under National Law Institute of Delhi in collaboration with Global Open University, Nagaland (Distance) is underway. Kohima Law College Principal Akang Ao in a press release has informed that interested students may contact the college during office hours.

Recreational camp held

Kohima, June 20 (MExN): The Police Baptist Church, 9th IR Unit Church, Saijang organized a two days recreational camp for the church members on June 15 and 16 at Sovima (GCYM) under the theme, “Know Yourself.” According to a press note issued by unit Pastor Rukuveyi Nienu, the resource persons were Temsu and Irui. Altogether 35 campers attended the same and reported to have a blessed time.
 
KPC Condoles

KOHIMA, June 20 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club has expressed its heartfelt condolence at the untimely demise of N.Nakhro, Station Director of Kohima All India Radio (A.I.R) who passed away on Wednesday morning (June 20, 2012) after a prolonged illness.
Stating that she was like a friend, who was always ready to help and guide anyone at anytime, the Kohima Press Club in a condolence message has shared its grief with the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty would grant them strength and comfort during this time of sorrow.
