SP NPTO Mkg two-storied office building inaugurated

Mokokchung, June 21 (DIPR): Director General of Police, Nagaland, O. Alem on June 21 inaugurated two-storied office building of Superintendent of Police, Nagaland Police Tele-communication Organization (NPTO) Mokokchung.

The new Superintendent of Police (NPTO) office building constructed at the cost of Rs. 82 lakhs assumed significant as SP NPTO controls Zunheboto, Longleng, Tuensang, Mon and Kiphire districts besides Mokokchung in providing information needs on law and order and other Government information in times of need.
In his inaugural speech, O. Alem narrated with reminiscence the hardship faced by the police in tele-communication field with bulky Tele-Com equipments those days. He said in spite of hardship, the tele-com needs were not left wanting. He said the NPTO play a vital role in providing information’s needs. The DGP hoped that with the inauguration of new building, the Superintendent of Police and his officers and staffs would provide better services to the people. He also appealed to the officers and staff to keep the office clean to make it a pleasant place.

The function chaired by SP (NPTO) Mokokchung, Rongsenniken was attended among others by Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Muroho Chotso, DIG Range, Mokokchung, Akum yimchungru, SP, Mokokchung, Sonia Singh. At the inaugural function, welcome address was delivered by SP, NPTO, Kohima, S. Changkei Konyak who was posted in Mokokchung earlier in the 2000s.
Earlier DGP inaugurated a two- Day health camp for the personnel’s of DEF, Mokokchung and their family members at DIG Range Office, Mokokchung.
