NSF emergency consultative meeting today
Dimapur, June 26 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation has convened emergency consultative meeting with the seniors of NSF on June 27 at 2:00 pm in the NSF Conference Hall. Some of the important agenda premeditated are; Hosting of North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) General Conference in the month of October 2012, NSF Demand on the total review of Job Reservation, pertinent issues in Nagaland University, Taxation in the Educational Institutes by Naga National groups, etc. Therefore, all concerned seniors are requested to also come with agenda and attend the meeting without fail. This was stated in a press release issued by NAF Secretary, Information and Publicity Vipa Domeh.
Assam Rifles organise friendship feast
Mokokchung, June 26 (DIPR): 31 Assam Rifles organised feast for the GBs, Secretary and Chairman of Mokokchung Town and satellite villages of Mokokchung, Ungma, Chuchuyimpang and Khensa. The event was organised at Battalion Headquarter located at Mokokchung district. During the conduct of the event, Commandant 31 Assam Rifles welcomed all the guests and apprised them the purpose of organising the get together which was to interact with each other and work together for the betterment of local population. The community leaders also expressed gratitude for the work carried out by the Assam Rifles in maintaining peace environment and for helping the people by means of various projects undertaken under Sadbhavana, Samaritan and Military Civic Action Programmes. The main attraction of the event was the display of unit Jazz Band which played melodious Bollywood and English Numbers followed by dinner.
CEAF candidates informed
Dimapur, June 26 (MExN): All selected students/candidates of CEAF are informed to collect during office hour along with photo copy of last academy pass certificate dully certificated by head of institute on or before July 25. Any claim made after the expiry of due date shall not be entertained. Further, CEAF application forms for the year 2012-13 (both fresh and renewal) will be issued and received from August 6 to 27. This was informed in a press release issued by DEO Dimapur Asono Ndang.
Dimasa leader’s get-together prog held
Dimapur, June 26 (MExN): The Dimasa leaders of Dimapur district hold community leaders’ get-together programme at Dimapur town on June 24 and shared on present scenario of community activities in and around Dimapur. Convenor of the programme Mohendra Thaosen in a press release said that the programme started with invocation prayer pronounced by Satyalal Thaosen, chaired by Bhopen Girisa and vote of thanks was pronounced by Rajesh Girisa. All the GBs, chairmen, VDB secretaries and intellectual who have concern with the tribe attended the programme and shared their ideas on “Social, Cultural, Political, Education and developmental activities” of Kachari Tribe and suggested remedy thereon. The resource person S.K. Khemprai delivered valuable speech on social awareness and other activities and appeal to every responsible leader to think positive to preserve the architect the civilization of Dimasa Tribe and implement their ideas in constructive way which will benefit every individual of Dimasa in particular and Kachari as a whole.
