Wokha district BS&G induction prog held
Dimapur, June 26 (MExN): The Wokha district Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) induction programme was held on June 26 at the DC’s conference Hall, Wokha. The programme was chaired by Chubatola Longkumer, Principal Mt. Tiyi College, Wokha cum district vice-president BS&G. She called upon every responsible officer to come forward for widening the activities of scouts and guides in the district.
A press note received here stated that the ceremony was led by K. Libemo Jami, YRO cum District Commissioner(S) BS&G Wokha where Vysan R (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Wokha and N. Marius Yanthan, SDEO Wokha as district president and secretary of BS&G Association of Wokha district.
The DC while assuring full co-operation towards the BS&G association stated that more of such activities will be taken up during his tenure as district head. He appealed to the association to increase the enrolment of membership and urged that the movement of BS&G in the district should not be marginalised.
Other State members who attended the programme included M. Sale, former State Secretary & Vice President, I. Amenla Sayah State Training Commissioner (Guide) and Vimezhou Paphino, State organising Commissioner (Guide).
As per BS&G order No. WD/BS&G-5/2011-12/044 Dated. 20th June 2012 K. Libemo Jami YRO cum Assistant District Commissioner (S) BS&G promoted to District Commissioner (S) in place of Mhonyamo yanthan DSO cum district Commissioner (S) due to retirement of service from May 2012 and Loreni Ngullie Head Teacher cum Assistant District Commissioner (G) is promoted to district commissioner (G) due to promotion and transferred of Renbeni Ngullie EAC district Commissioner (G) from 2011.
