DMC developmental work at New Market

Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council under the initiative of its Chief Executive Officer, Imtirenla Jamir carried out road developmental work in the west side of New Market, Dimapur. This was informed in a press note issued to the media.
The west side road of New Market remained inundated with rain water causing immense problem for footpath vendors and pedestrians in the area.
The note stated that the problem was brought to the notice of DMC through local media, and soon after the work was immediately taken up on priority and with assistance from GBs and business community of New Market, the earth filling work commenced on Sunday. DMC men and machineries were pressed into action for execution of work.
The note also mentioned that the business community of New Market, on behalf of the public, has thanked Imtirenla Jamir for taking initiative to give the facelift to New Market.
