Training for forest survey teams today

Kohima, July 4 (MExN): The State’s department of Forests, Ecology, Environment & Wildlife informed that the inauguration of training for survey teams for preparation of forest management plan will take place on July 5 at 10:00 AM in the conference hall of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Kohima. Minister of Forest & Environment and Excise M.C. Konyak will grace the function as the chief guest. Short speech will be delivered by Dr. C.L. Goel, PCCF, Nagaland, Elusing Meru, Secretary, Forests and S. Sen Gupta, IFS, Deputy Director FSI. The function will be chaired by I. Panger Jamir, Additional PCCF Nagaland while vote of thanks will be proposed by Dr. K. Kire, CF (RPU).

Dimapur Electrical Division informs

Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): The newly constructed 33kV transmission line from 66/33kV, 10MVA sub-station, Ganeshnagar to the newly constructed 33/11kV, 2.5MVA sub-station, Doyapur under Dhansiripar Block via Ganeshnagar, Doyapur and Dhansiripar will be energized wef July 6, 2012 at 33kV. Dimapur Electrical Division, executive engineer Nitovi A Wotsa in a press release has informed all concern not to come in contact with the electrical materials connected with the said transmission line and sub-station. “The Department will not be held responsible for any accident arising due to non compliance of this notice,” stated the executive engineer.

Farewell prog for Pauramyi retired DB

Jalukie, July 4 (DIPR): A farewell programme in honour of Pauramyi retired DB Gr II was held at Jalukie DB Court SDO (C) Office on July 3. Head DB, Namtsi and SDO (C) Imsongmeren who gave farewell speeches stated that to get pension in good health with God’s blessing was a great achievement and further stated that the outgoing DB has performed his duty with dedication and sincerity. Pauramyi also shared his past experiences and further thanked God for protecting and giving him good health throughout his service for 35 years. The farewell programme was chaired by DB Kurangbe while invocation prayer was offered by DB Kuhei and benediction prayer was pronounced by DB Ichilie.

Kiphire DPDB on July 10

Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): All the members of Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) are informed that the DPDB meeting will be held on July 10 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire. All are, therefore, requested to take note of the date and attend the meeting without fail.

L. Temsunungsang designated as PIO

Kohima, July 4 (DIPR): In continuation of the Vigilance Commission Department’s notification of even number dated 24-07-2007, and in pursuance of the section 5(1) pertaining to Right to Information Act, 2005, L. Temsunungsang SP III Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Nagaland Kohima has been designated as Public Information Officer (PIO) w.e.f 01-07-2012 in respect of Anti-Corruption wing of the State Vigilance Commission Nagaland Kohima.
